It was hard to leave the window and terrace overlooking the drama of the ocean.
We loved it.
Best to pay for parking, unless you have a small car.

Charming flat, there were a few issues with broken bedroom blind, stained carpet and rug and light bulbs not working but that didn’t detract from the overall enjoyment.
Excellent location breathtaking view well appointed apartment.
Absolutely amazing loved every minute the envy of everyone when sitting on the balcony with the best view ever .
The terrace adjacent to the property could be a massive asset however has been left unkept and untidy which is a real shame ! As it could look lovley if cleaned up and some plants etc around ! We will definitely return to Praxis nevertheless.
A familiar spot for fans of Trebarwith Strand. The flat is very tired looking, the furniture is ramshackle and ill fitting.
Every surface is full of dirty dusty boat themed tourist nick nacks, plastic flowers and for some reason, lamps. The bedroom alone has four lamps and a twig thing on the wall that scratches you as you try to squeeze past.
The bedroom blind is completely broken, and bangs all night if you don't wedge it in.
There is a Dyson attached to the wall outside the bathroom which again you have to squeeze past avoiding injury and it doesn't seem to work anyway.
Nice view of the beach. Shame about the plastic flowers on the windowsills.
I wish perfection weren't so far away from Massachusetts!
When we walked into Praxis, and opened the doors in the picture, my jaw dropped--it is so much more gorgeous than the picture can convey, with the intensity of the colors of the water and the shoreline, the crashing waves, the clean air and the way the cliffs frame the big rock out in the sea in front. The apartment was comfortable and well-maintained; the kitchen and bathroom looked like they had been recently updated and the bed was comfortable. The shower had the best water pressure I think I've ever experienced, with a rainhead and a wand, in a big tub.. There was no freezer, which was a surprise, and the washer worked better than the dryer (but there's a drying rack.) The one challenge was the parking space is tiny and you really have to have parking chops to get into the space without hitting the posts, getting too close to the stone dropoff, or hitting a rock on the other side of the lane. The hedgerows also take some getting used to, as some people are better about giving way than others. But my US driver wife aced all of that, and everything was very close, to our US sensibilities--Tintagel, Rough Tor, Bodmin Moor, and hiking trails. Okay, I didn't know a strand was a beach, and was astonished to see all the sand appear the next day, with a huge cave to explore down by the waterline. There was a little breakfast cafe across the street, and the pub steps away from the front door (but neither one was noisy). We'll be back for sure!

A room with a view
A well located holiday home with stunning views of the sea. On the whole this is a nice apartment in a great spot. On the downside, to have a warm shower you have to put the economy 7 on which is noisy and can be heard coming on and off overnight as you try and sleep which spoilt our stay. There is a button which is supposed to just heat the hot water to save putting the economy 7 on but this didn’t appear to be working. We contacted Vrbo several times and the second time we did this we had no reply at all when we reported the faulty hot water button. We had also raised a concern about 2 cracked wine glasses we spotted on our first day there and wondered how they could have been missed if there had been a ‘deep clean’ prior to our visit. Also, on wiping the bottom of the oven before we left, to remove bread crumbs, worrying the cloth was black! This obviously hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Also, on removing the black plastic bag from the bin in the kitchen (the black bin bag had been in the bin on our arrival), the inside of the bin was filthy. We had to vacate by 10, as I’m sure the previous tenants did and we could not get into the property until 5 so can’t understand how cleanliness issues like this could have happened. Summarising then, great spot spoilt by noise, worrying lack of cleanliness and disappointing lack of response/concern from Vrbo.
