One well-behaved dog is welcome, but must be added to your reservation and approved in advance. Our pet policy is as follows:
Pets are NOT permitted on any beds. Our linens are white, and we work hard to keep them in excellent condition.
If you wish to have your pet on the bed with you, please bring your own bedding.
Pets must never be left unattended, indoors or outdoors.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside.
Any damage caused by your pet is the owner’s full responsibility, and repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
Please ensure your pet does not bark excessively or disturb neighbours.
You must clean up after your pet in the yard.
This cottage can accommodate up to 8 people. It is ideal for family groups looking for a quiet getaway. Many children`s amenities are provided including a crib and toys making it the perfect place for families with kids!
Georgian Bay is home to the 30,000 islands, and you can take great boat tours from Midland and Penetanguishene. Other area attractions include St Marie Among the Hurons, Martyrs Shine, Wye Marsh Conservation, Georgian Bay National Parks, Discovery Harbour, Awenda Provincial Park, and much more. Close to hundreds of kilometres of wilderness biking or walking trails.

Guests have access to the cottage and surrounding area.
Occasionally, the property managers may be on the property for snow removal or property maintenance, but apart from that you will have the whole property to yourself.
We are always available by phone, email or text during your stay.
The cottage is situated in Sawlog Bay which is in Tiny Township, ON. It is a beautiful quiet neighbourhood near several beautiful beaches and Awenda Provincial Park.
There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway.
Cottage Rules:
The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 8. Should it be found that there are more than eight people on the property at any given time, you will be asked to leave with no refund. You will be charged for the extra guests.
Absolutely no parties allowed. The Noise-By-Law is in effect 24 hours a day. If we receive a noise complaint, your rental may be terminated. Noise violations fines are $300 in Tiny.
Any watercraft on site is to be used at your own discretion. We will not be held liable for any incidents resulting from onsite water equipment use. It is the user`s responsibility to be aware of weather conditions, watercraft rules and any local laws associated with the use of the equipment.
Children must be supervised at all times while on the property. By booking with us you accept any and all liability for any incidents that may occur and agree to supervise children at all times.
In compliance with the Tiny Township short-term rental by-law, all renters must sign the short-term rental accommodation code of conduct form as issued by Tiny Township. This document will be sent to you after you`ve booked.
Campfires: Before you start a fire, it is your responsibility to know if a FIRE BAN is in effect by calling the township. Having a fire during a fire ban or winds over 20 km/h = $180 fine
No smoking inside. Please put all butts into the fireplace pit or specified ashtray.
No animals on the furniture. A $200 fee may be charged to clean up sand, wet dog, hair, etc.
Maximum 8 people at all times (which includes adults and children over the age of 2).
No grease down the drain. Please empty cooking oil and other grease into the compost (we’re on a septic system)
Only toilet paper can be flushed down toilets (we’re on a septic system)
We provide 1 paddle board that you may use. Please bring your own life saving device and use only at your own risk.
Rental Property should be left in the same condition as originally found.
Payment is due at the time of booking. Confirmed guests will receive a link to our guest portal to sign our rental agreement and view booking details (including payments and receipts). Our cancellation policy is as follows: 100% Refund: For cancellations made 30 days or more before the check-in date. 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the check-in date. No Refund: For cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the check-in date.
A $500 security hold will be placed on the guest’s credit card 3 days prior to check-in. This is a pre-authorization only and no funds will be charged unless damage or excessive cleaning is identified after check-out. Please keep noise to a minimum between 10pm-8am daily.

First, let me say that we had a wonderful time. We were 2 grandparents, our two kids and their partners, and two young grandchildren. The open concept "great room" on the main floor worked really well for us. Lots of space for us to hang out together to play games, read, cook, etc.
The upstairs with four bedrooms and lots of bed choice worked well for us, too.
We had a great time at the two beaches within walking distance and Awenda Provincial Park is very close.
The "just a little care" part? The dining room furniture is rickety and one chair collapsed on us. It needs an hour of maintenance with some glue and a couple of clamps. The floor in the great room is in poor repair and is not in keeping with the price we paid.
However, we would happily return, even given the above. The overall cottage worked extremely well for us. Communication was quick and easy, the kitchen had what we needed, etc.
