"A mixed experience at this hotel. Essentially it was a great hotel... but someone seems to have stopped spending any money on maintaining it a while back. On arrival we happened to see a small sign informing us we had to pay for parking - only £3 but the stay started with a negative! The air conditioning didn't work and when we asked about it we were told it wasn't supported any more. The room was stifflingly hot and the windows 'for our safety' didn't open very far. "Absolutely fantastic stay . The staff who were on was top notch . Couldnt fault them . Friendly and welcoming. We also dined and had the mac and chees which was lovely and the carvery was outstanding . Carvery chef made sure all food was nice hot and fresh and was very nice and polite . Credit to the landlord "
