"This hotel is older but reasonably updated, clean and convenient. It is located near lots of interesting points of interest and businesses. About 1 block from transportation to everything. About 3 blocks to historical sites, parks and churches.
The rooms and beds were comfortable enough and the showers hot. The restaurant in the hotel turned out to be one of the best in the area. "

"This stay is on a floating island in Lake titicaca. As an experience it is amazing. However, be prepared that they only accept cash, the rooms are not heated, our stay on October 3rd 2024 was extremely cold. Nestor is a pleasant host, and gave us a tour of Uros island on our way back to shore.
Note that the showers have limited access to hot water, and the toilet is a dry toilet, also there is no WiFi and limited cellular signal.
Over all, the view and experience are amazing, but be prepared for...

"We stayed at Mosoq Inn for 4 days. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were very flexible with our requests. They took care of our laundry and stored our luggage while we took a tour. The staff arranged breakfast ahead of time so that we could catch a very early morning train. Very clean property. "

"Great location - easy walk to main square. Room was nice. Staff didn't speak much English but we muddled through.
Main complaint was with breakfast.... supposed to be 6-8:30. We went down at 6:50, and none of the hot items were put out. What WAS available was pretty lame."

"We had an amazing one night experience staying at Casita del Titicaca. The hospitality was outstanding and we very much enjoyed Edens company. He took us fishing, arranged for logistics to and from Puno and served us excellent meals for dinner, breakfast and lunch, food was both fresh and tasty and we had desserts as well.
The bathrooms are as comfortable as can be but we did have hot showers (low water pressure but thats a given). The beds were warm and comfortable and all three of us slept...

"Good options for breakfast, staff were helpful and friendly (helped us book taxis, etc), bed was huge and comfortable. Blackout blinds helped us sleep. Fridge in the bedroom was useful, and shower was nice and hot. Walking distance to the square was a positive too"
"Eder and family were incredible hosts with a wonderful setup in the Uros floating community off of Puno. The meals were all simple and delicious. The room we had was a very cool A frame with plenty of glass to soak in the views and night sky. Highly recommended a stay at Casitas Del Titicaca!"
"This hotel was exceptional! The view was phenomenal from our room as we were able to see lake Titicaca as well as the sun rises. The staff were very friendly and were available for anything that we needed.
They have a beautiful terrace out back that can be used for great pictures and for an outside sunset picnic.
There is also a pier nearby so you don't have to go into the main city to access any boats if you are visiting Uros.
Hotel is in a gated area so it feels very safe. However, it is uphill. So if you don't want to walk up hills, this is not the hotel for you.
The breakfast was the best we've had in Peru. "
"Our stay at Titicaca Origins was nothing short of magical. The boat transfer through the reeds to the tiny floating islands is fascinating and waiting to greet us was Delia with a huge smile. We stayed in a luxury room which was absolutely stunning with mahogany wooden floors, and panoramic windows to allow you to drink in the views and stargaze by night. It was sheer joy to sit on the deck a world away from reality soaking up views of the reed islands and the surrounding mountains. The star of the show was Angie, the newest member of the family and a curious 2 year old keen to engage with visitors. Despite her grandmother repeatedly showing up to take her away, she would find her way back for dancing, drawing and childish chatter. What an angel! Staying here gave us insight into life on the islands and provided a unique experience which I would highly recommend. As you snuggle into the giant bed layered with warm textiles and topped with an hot water bottle you will feel like you have truly arrived somewhere special."
"Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants et serviables. Les services et la nourriture, considérant le fait que nous sommes sur une île, sont excellents!"
