Beds were comfortable. The family stayed in the roomy Bastioni apartment. Breakfast was very good and the staff were patient when we arrived just before serving was supposed to end. The hotel - an old castle —and pool area were lovely. Very friendly staff.

The Borgo itself is lovely but my stay unfortunately less so. I’d asked Borgo staff if it was the feasibile to travel to the Borgo just outside Todi by bus from Rome or if they had other suggestions. I asked as I wad considering renting a car while still in the capital, but the staff simply provided a link to a bus company and advised that they would arrange for transfer between the station and the Borgo areas of arrival. Thirty minutes before arriving by bus, I received another message that their usual transfers service was unavailable and they’d send another person, whose fee for the less than ten minute ride is 40 Euro. When I arrived, I shared with the front desk that I’d found the fee surprising and asked if there was another option to get into Todi. I was told that transit could only be provided by staff or the one taxi driver in town, and the member of staff who does this was sick. I spoke with a different woman at the front desk later that afternoon after not hearing back from the taxi driver about my booked departure at 8 am three days later. She advised that if the taxi driver could not help, then I would need to figure out some other option as while there is in house transit, 8 am is too early as that person would not be working early on a Saturday morning. After multiple conversations, it was apparent that there were serious communication issues between guest service staff at the hotel, the taxi driver was not going to respond, and I was ultimately n

Lugar lindo com staff completamente despreparado.

Hotel lindíssimo, em um local super privilegiado e histórico. Estávamos com altas expectativas com relação à hospedagem por se tratar de um castelo e por ser uma viagem especial, de aniversário de casamento etc. Entretanto o atendimento do staff é sofrível, péssimo. Pessoas mal treinadas, incapazes de um atendimento premium e sofisticado. Quando chegamos, havia uma reserva para degustação de vinhos e o horário tinha sido alterado por um funcionário que não trabalhava mais lá. E ficou por isso mesmo. Não podemos fazer a degustação e disseram que então iriam fazer uma reserva para o jantar. Quando chegamos no restaurante nossa mesa não estava reserva. Detalhe: o hotel tem pouquíssimos quartos. Depois, quando chegamos ao café da manhã, o maître nos perguntou quantas pessoas módulos éramos pois nós não estávamos na lista (!!!!). Inacreditável, já fiquei hospedada em inúmeros hotéis, no Brasil e em diversas partes do mundo e fiquei chocada com o despreparo do time. Nem um cartão com boas vindas, ou falando do nosso aniversário de casamento ou um pedido de desculpas que fosse. Somente ao final, quando estávamos fazendo o checkout, o maître se desculpou mas disse que eu não tinha entendido bem. Enfim… Uma pena, pois o lugar é belíssimo.

Da tempo volevamo provare questo resort e i risultati sono stati superiori alle attese. Location molto piacevole; la struttura è stata oggetto di un restauro molto curato in tutti i dettagli; personale professionale, cortese e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Data la stagione abbiamo cenato all'aperto, in ambiente molto piacevole e curato nei dettagli; servizio ottimo. Una menzione particolare merita il menu: le proposte non sono tantissime ma la varietà è più che sufficiente; l'esecuzione è impeccabile e il tocco dello chef evidente ma senza sovrastare il piatto con virtuosismi fini a sé stessi. Lista dei vini molto curata così come la scelta dei distillati.
