"Lisa(Host) was awesome to deal with. Loved the place this main house was located at. Beautiful garden and it’s surrounding. We enjoyed our stay very much and will come back to stay her if we are ever in Rotorua. But, the smell inside the house needs a refresher or odour clean. It’s definitely needs some maintenance as there are some things that’s broken (pool table room), some rooms need a change in carpet or upgrade"

"The iron was full of rust and caravan needs some cleaning. Cleaners came about 10am while checkout time was at 11am. Please improve these things."

"The location is nice, just below an open hillside with a few cows and sheep in a quiet area. The Tudor style cottage is pretty, though it’s best years are perhaps past. If you need a night to stay in a quiet area, then this place would be just fine. For a longer stay, it would be too small and there’s no facility for cooking."

"Very good house. One note - we stayed in the house in April, it was a rainy day and it was cool in the house, but the owners did not leave firewood for us."

"This property is big enough to accommodate our large family group without compromising our individual privacy. The kitchen/dining room allowed us enough space and seating to enjoy meals together. The lounge and balcony is the perfect place to relax and plan our adventures together while enjoying the amazing views of Rotorua."

"We enjoyed our brief stay in this house. It is a beautiful home and the location is great for Rotorua's many attractions. However, it is very expensive for what it provides. While the four bedrooms meant all four of us had some space for ourselves, we expected at this price, that the beds and bedding would be more comfortable and that we wouldn't be expected to take out our own rubbish and wash dishes. More towels wouldn't have gone amiss either. But it's still a great place if you don't mind...

"This property would certainly be a five star location had a few details not been overlooked. The address is incorrect, we spent approx 45 minutes trying to locate the property after driving from AKL in the dark and with rain. It’s actually lot 10 on Lemonwood. I recommend arriving in daylight and note the lot numbers are very small on the fence. There was not one extra trash bag or a location to place the trash. We requested to check out one day early five weeks before the trip and they refused...

"This place was great with three bedrooms and large lounge room and kitchen fully equipped our stay was very comfortable. Bonus spa at back and garage parking. So easy and convenient to all the attractions too. Highly recommend this place. It was the Beez kneez!"
