The reviews must be old found the shower tiles to have a slop that when wet made it quite slippery rest of bathroom quite ok bed abit averidge but ok for budget accom the breakfast is not to book cold bacon and powdered eggs and cold and hashbrowns cold and horrible the first staff just grunted at guests second staff much better and quite pleasant Breakfast served minus a spoon to eat it remind me never order breakfast when booking accom

The rooms were clean and the staff is very polite. The only issue I experienced was about 3 to 5 minutes of hot water for a shower. Afterwards it would run cold immediately.

The deluxe double room was big, comfortable and clean. The corridors, room and lift seemed like they were new. A good shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Excellent location for the Skyline Gondola and zip wire etc - just walking distance. But need to drive into the centre of Rotorua. Parking was no problem because there's a bottle store and dairy next door and which have parking when parking at the hotel was full.

The room was great. Check-in was chaos. The lobby of this hotel is messy and cluttered. It was a bit concerning when we checked in as the lobby does not represent the rooms well. The guy at the front desk was helpful but did not seem professional. Parking was horrible. I would stay there again but only in a pinch.

The staff were great. There was hardly any parking for a hotel. The bathroom drawers and cupbiard under the sink wasn't cleaned. The hot water ran out the evening before we checked out. So had ton have cold showers.

Don’t do it, unless you want to sleep on heavily stained bedding, use yellow spotted towels and be yelled at reception. 4.50 PM room is not ready… Cleaning personnel was super nice trying to change sheets and towels, but it was impossible for them to find anything without brown or yellow marks. They gave us great local recommendations about what to do though 😉. And the finale was the breakfast! It looked like the family (that operate this hotel) was just recycling their dinner- crusty dumplings, plane fried rice, reheated spring rolls…. To be fair- there was fresh bacon, canned beans and weathered eggs. No coffee, instant one with “help yourself kettle”. $20/person if you book in advance, or $25 on the spot. Thank you for discount, loud lady at the reception 😉

Staff was nice and accommodating, the room and bathroom were clean. Beds were good and the place was quiet. Wifi was good and the tv in the room allowed skycasting so we could watch netflix from our phone. Overall basic accomodation that meets all your needs for a very nice price.

1 night's stay, 2pax - good, can be better Rooms were clean & spacious - pillows were good quality, beds were a little too soft but that's just personal preference. Amenities were good, standard fare -bathroom was again spacious & clean, pretty ample space for one room. Staff were nice, though older female was more attentive on exit than the young male that initially greeted us on entry. Continental Breakfast this morning - basic, have had better elsewhere; attention to detail & presentation would help here. Overall, 7/10 - would stay here again, but at a push.
