The upstairs lounge is a fantastic space, really enjoy the lofi music played in the morning. Comfortable seating too. The bathroom units were a little difficult to navigate but I understand that's Tokyo and I don't mark the hotel down for it. Overall a great hotel in an ideal location.

It was very nice, simple, artistic unique environment downstairs, but always very busy. Good starting point for tourists, as most of the staff speak more than Japanese and you don't have to leave the hotel to get meals.

Get the breakfast buffet pass!!! Everything opens at 10am or later so just eat at the hotel before heading out. You are right across a beautiful park in a quiet street 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station. The rooms are small w/o closets but the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are spacious enough. The second floor bar and lounge are super nice for a quiet sake drink and the music in the lobby plays all day and is appreciated. Front desk was always nice and the restaurant host and servers were super friendly. Also get a pastry and some coffee from the shop downstair and eat some ramen from the restaurant next door (cash only)...worth it.

The Knot is the hotel of choice for us when staying in Tokyo, due to its proximity to Shinjuku, shopping, dining, and transportation. Access to Shinjuku Chuo Park across the street, an in-lobby bakery for a quick bite, and a Family Mart next door for everything else, makes The Knot the perfect place for lodging year round.

The room was spotless, comfy & a decent size. A shame the window was covered in plastic & scaffolding due to maintenance but we were only there for 2 nights so not an issue. This Hotel is modern and trendy. It offers a cool restaurant and lounge. The staff were very helpful and attentive and spoke great English making it easy. Its located on a quiet street across from a park and a couple minute walk to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and subway satation. The room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable. I would highly reccomend staying here.
