"The giant windows in the living room are dramatic and luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Carpets and living room furniture are starting to show their age but not bad. Kitchen is adequate but some of the pots and pans are also well used. Shower drains were just a little slow in two of the three. Overall a fantastic place."

"This is a beautiful cottage and is definitely country style living. Having lived in rural areas before with older homes, it was exactly as I expected and would definitely go back. The market next door was perfect and I wish I had more time there. "

"It was mostly a comfortable experience except the air conditioner in the master bedroom was shaky and making a lot of noise. The backyard is not maintained, looks nothing like the picture. The rooms are clean, everything works as expected (except the A/C mentioned above). Overall it was a good stay, I'd recommend it if you want to have a weekend getaway from big cities. "

"We had a wonderful experience here! After a long drive after we arrived, the home was so inviting and welcoming we all crashed and stayed there, rather than go out immediately to see family. They had toys available for my toddler, and two tv rooms, which was god sent for my teenagers. Everything was clean, and it just made us all feel like home. "This house had everything my family of 6 needed. Our girls had plenty of room and they enjoyed the lake near by. My husband. 6yr old and I loved the early morning sightings of the deer and wild turkeys and their babies in yjr backyard. My 6yr old bought binoculars for this particular reason. "This VRBO-makeover is nicely appointed, spacious (sleeps 6 or more!) and conveniently located near the middle of town. Don't plan on using the "carport" unless you're driving a pickup truck or SUV. Access to carport is via a one-lane asphalt alley that has a steep dropoff. Alternative: park on the shoulder of Hwy 168 and schlep your bags up 15 stairs. "
