"I had such an amazing stay here! First off the staff were top tier! The housekeeping ladies were sooo amazing, did such a great job, and made me feel right at home! They definitely were the highlight of my stay and made the stay soo worth it! I can’t thank them enough for their kindness, awesomeness, and hospitality! Definitely book here! Also the manager was soo awesome and accommodating too! Ray and Muskardt were also amazing! Any help or information I needed bam they helped me! In fact the whole entire staff are top tier A-1 and made my initial stay in Tirana beautiful! Any help I needed they took great care of me and even went above and beyond! I can’t recommend this place enough! Definitely stay here! The room was beautiful, clean, bright, airy, and modern! 10/10 stay here!✨"

"Mercure Hotel is a clean, well-maintained property. It's located near a major intersection on the western outskirts of Tirana. There are two things I liked about the hotel. First, it is clean and new for the price range. Not fancy, but I did not experience any inconvenience during my stay. Second, the breakfast buffet was really good, much better than most four-star hotels in Western Europe. In addition to eggs and sausages, they had vegetable dishes, mushrooms, various kinds of cheese (not just European cheese but also more Middle Eastern cheese), five or six different kind of jams, different kinds of yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, and more. There is also an absolutely pleasant female worker there. She greets every guest and asks how we are doing in a super cheerful manner but not in an annoying way. She was a delight to see every morning. The hotel should give her a big raise! The most serious drawback I had was the location of the hotel. Because it's outside the main area of the city, there are so few restaurants to go out for dinner. I ended up eating dinner at the hotel, which was very disappointing unlike the excellent breakfast. I think they microwave everything in the kitchen, which is really problematic for dinner that pretends to be a bit fancy. So if you stay here, make sure to eat in town before coming back to the hotel."
