"Easy to find (no service but plan ahead with GPS/offline maps!) and beautiful location! We stayed 9/18-8/21 so foliage was on its way to changing which gave the most beautiful addition to the already gorgeous views of the lake. We really enjoyed walking along the beach with our pups. Getting engaged at sunset while taking some home videos really topped it all! Mike came bay to introduce himself and gave us the warmest and most heartfelt congratulations and it made us feel so special. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us!"

Lakefront Cabin on a Double Lot w/ 500

"Location was nice well appointed kitchen . The only issue was the oven had a gas leak of some sort an we couldn’t use it . We did try but it took forever to heat up and the whole house smelled of gas when on. The cook top was ok. I tried to text and email but got no response. We enjoyed the water front and had a nice time ."

"My family absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was comfortable, cozy, and the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together.During our trip, we visited Acadia National Park, enjoyed a cruise aboard the Katahdin, ate delicious seafood at Stewman’s Downtown, and stopped at Maine Cabin Masters/The Woodshed to eat and shop on our way to the cabin.This trip was especially meaningful for my 83-year-old mother. Her parents frequently traveled to Maine, but she had not visited Moosehead Lake since 1961. She was so happy to return and is already talking about visiting again!At the cabin, we gathered around the campfire, enjoyed the beautiful lake, and ventured out in the kayaks provided by the hosts. My daughter and I even took a refreshing dip in the lake—the water was 68 degrees! Our dogs were also very comfortable and especially loved relaxing on the upper deck and spending time outdoors.Our only suggestions would be to add gravel or steppingstones near the cabin entrance to help prevent dirt and mud from being tracked inside. We also felt that the upstairs steps could benefit from railings along the open sides. We did not have young children with us, but our small dog loved sitting on the steps and looking down over the side, which made us a little nervous.Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable family getaway. "We could not have had a better time at this place. Owners were awesome. Came over the first night to help my wife figure out the roku tv and never stopped being helpfull. We brought our boat and kept it right on the dock. Minutes to moosehead lake where we spent the days just boating with our dogs. The place is the pefect place to spend time with family and friends. Huge wooded yard that backes up to wilderness. The place had everything u could think of. All l8n8n, cooking utensils, even had a dog dish and spot ready for us. Dogs could spend the day looking out over the front yard and river through the huge windows. Couldnt have found a better place to stay around here. This is an older house that is pet friendly and it shows. There are scrathes on the door. Couple spots on the floor where the linoleum has broke. So if u are looking for a pristine high end accommodations it will dissapoint but if u want to have a great place to stay that feels like u are home than this is for u. Cannot emphasize enough how helpfull and nice the owners were. I noticed a lot of reviews were from winter from skiers and snowmobile riders. Summer is just as fun up there."
