Lovely hotel. Clean and functional

Nice and relaxing hotel

This is a nice hotel to stay in Tondela, near the town center, and also to visit the surrounding areas like Caramulo. The hotel itself in not grand but it does his purpose quite well. There’s a large swimming pool and gardens, great for relaxing and the breakfast is very good with a variety of fresh fruit. Rooms are rather big (at least mine was).

Nice hotel in Tondela

Nice hotel in a central location for visiting Tondela (by foot) and within relatively short driving distances to the two nearby mountain ranges (Serra and Caramulo) and Viseu. Clean rooms and tidy grounds, including outside inground pool. Excellent service. Priced at market but the best place to stay in the area. Wi-fi works but not extremely strong.

Great hotel and staff

The staff is very nice and helpful. Bedrooms are clean, with good areas. Bed mattress and pillows are super comfortable. The only cons is the isolation: it is not that good and in the morning we woke up with other people speaking in their bedrooms and corridor.

sehr angenehmer, entspannender Aufenthalt

ein Geschäftsaufenthalt machte einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in Portugal - Tondela notwendig und das Hotel Severino Jose ist dafür eine angenehme Wahl. Mein Zimmer war komfortabel, geräumig und angenehm. Das Frühstük war reichhaltig und ansprechend präsentiert. Zum Abendessen gibt es Suppe/Sandwiches, Getränke an der Hotel-Bar. Das gesamte Hotel ist recht weitläufig und ruhig, der Parkplatz groß. Leider war der vorhandene Außenpool jahreszeitbedingt außer Betrieb.

O hotel tem áreas boas, possoas simpáticas e atenciosas. O preço é justo para o estado actual. A área envolvente é muito calma. O edifício tem tudo para ser um quatro estrelas e só não será porque alguns equipamentos (carpete e televisão dos quartos por exemplo) precisam de alguma renovação.
