"It was the perfect getaway to block out the world, to slow it down for a moment in time. The fire pit along the babbling brook surrounded by Adirondack chairs, and a small table was a very welcomed ambiance as I watched the smoke from the fire pit roll on up with the breezes down the brook. I thoroughly enjoyed dipping and wiggling my toes in the water. It was cooling and refreshing. The amenities were straightforward and humble. No fuss, common sense of environment. Well done! "

"Very impressed with the landscape! Wasn't a good time to go just because it rained all 3 days but there wouldn't be another cabin I'd rather have been at. Very clean! Manager was very informative!. Nice warm fireplace inside. Had it not rained we would have been able to light a fire outside while listening to the stream that's literally in your backyard. Very impressed with Vermont. "The Mountain Lakes community is an incredible part of the Woodsville, Haverhill, Bath, NH area. Close to all of the industrial areas in Woodsville with the beauty and solitude that the area has to offer. This home was perfect for our family to spread out and enjoy privacy but still have a big common area to share and hang out. The wood stove heats the house quickly and provides the spectacular benefits of cabin life. The home has all basics for cooking and cleaning above and beyond other homes I have rented. Super clean and stock is available in the basement to resupply toilet paper or paper towels, if needed. The view of the lake is above measure with peaceful shimmering waters in the morning on the back deck. Although it was too cold and rainy to use the kayaks or do a fire pit, the availability is easy and convenient with the house right on the lake. The driveway is a little tricky as it is steep for smaller cars and it could be intimidating to young drivers. Plenty of parking on the street with an open outside staircase built into the hill safely leading to the home. The wrap around porch was a great way to get around to the back of the house without having to walk through it with wet shoes. Overall, this home was a great place to stay and a welcoming space to share with family. "

"The Lake's End is so beautiful inside and out! The space is comfortable for a full family to stay in, with plenty of space to come together or spread out. The view is amazing and the activities available on the lake are so nice to be able to take advantage of. The whole atmosphere was very calming.The host was very helpful and accommodating. I had made a mistake in the booking and he patiently worked through it with me and VRBO reps until we got it solved. When a repair was needed, he jumped on solving it quickly. And he made the whole experience even more personal by calling ahead of the stay to make sure we were all set.Overall, this stay fit our needs perfectly! We all appreciated getting to enjoy this wonderful space!"
