"While I can understand other comments about the state of the property, and it could use cleaning and updates in some areas, it really was a great place to stay. The staff were attentive, kind and went out of their way. We stayed in a walled garden room. It was beautiful and the bathroom was huge. All of the food we had was wonderful. "Comfortable & friendly, quiet location, good menu with reasonable prices which is good because there is nowhere else around. Note you need a ferry to reach the property if you are driving from fort William (£13) or you can take a longer way (very scenic, single lane road)"

"Great facility and we enjoyed our room. Clean and tidy. Restaurant had great options and was delicious! Able to sit in the sunroom or indoors. Also can take a drink outside by the water if it’s nice. Some short walking paths around the water that are close by. Other than the hotel restaurant we ate at the Laroch in Ballachulish. This is a great location if you want to take on some of the longer hikes in GlenCoe. We kayaked on the Loch and saw a seal around the islands. Beautiful scenery. "

"Only stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Arrived around 8pm & left again around 7am the following morning. Didn’t stay for breakfast. All the staff I encountered were very friendly & helpful. Room was spotless & more than adequate for my stay. Lots of tea bags & milk so big plus for me. "
