"I feel a little duped by the reviews and the room on this stay. The hotel is technically in a convenient area to explore the Amalfi coast, if you have a car. It does have a decent view from the terrace, and parking easy on the street, but its not close to get anywhere on foot. But the room we were given was a dark, small, basement room, that smelt of damp and mold, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and furnishings minimal. Check which room for sure before booking. "We loved that the villa is quiet and there’s only a few suites. Really felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. We loved our private terrace and having breakfast there everyday. Staff was helpful with coordinating transport and activities. One thing to note, there are a lot of stairs and you need to walk up or down to get to the property. However, the villa organized porter service for our bags. Gorgeous views. Loved our stay."

"Hotel Pupetto was truly wonderful, and the entire staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. The ocean view from the terrace was breathtaking, and the room was impeccably clean. While I cannot name everyone, I would like to specifically mention Ilenia, Fedele, Fernando, Sumal, and all the ladies at the front desk who coordinated everything prior to my arrival. The breakfast was excellent, and the dinner consistently exceeded expectations, always accompanied by the chef's thoughtful hospitality. If you wish to experience Positano away from the crowds, Pupetto is an excellent choice."

"Getting here with heavy luggage up the narrow streets and stairs was tough, but the staff made up for it immediately. When the front desk staff saw how exhausted and overheated we were, they immediately handed us cold water, and let us rest before even starting check-in. The location is amazing with views over Positano. We loved the pool, the beach club and the free pool bag with flipflops. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend."

"Noemi made our stay extra special! The room was beautiful, and Noemi made sure to explain everything very well to us, including places to visit around the hotel and how to get to the beaches. The views outside the room were stunning as well. The breakfast was delightful with amazing views. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Make sure you don't use Google Maps/ Apple Maps like we did to get to the hotel because it will make you walk 400 steps upward! Either walk on the road or take a bus, and use the $15 luggage porters to take your luggages up!"

"Exactly what we wanted in Positano. Clean, comfortable room, a balcony we actually used, and staff who went out of their way. Alfonso sorted our transport to Naples and confirmed it in person when we asked, which mattered because we had a train we couldn't miss. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Would stay again."
