"What an amazing place! Pedro and his wife have put so much love into their farm. It was a perfect accommodation for 4 couples and a quiet respite from the big city. Great walking path, very clean, private rooms and multiple places to just hang out and enjoy the peaceful view of the river. Pedro was very responsive with any questions we had and the bonus was the baker that came to us!"

"There are no houses visible on this side of the river. The view to the other side is incredible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The owner was very accommodating and any of our needs were met quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautify place to stay in the valley."

"I was expecting, and have had, a far higher standard for the price. I wish I had taken more notice of the number of external photographs against interior shots as the only redeeming feature of this place is the outside area. The house itself is of a very low standard. Everything feels old. Not rustic, not traditional, not authentic, OLD! "Large property with extensive gardens, providing everything you could want on holiday. Content to sit by the window and watch the boats going up and down the river, very relaxing. "Accommodation is excellent, lovely to be met by the host who did an essential shop for us as we were arriving late. Airy rooms with air conditioning. The pool is great for a dip after a day sightseeing in Porto. The steps into the pool were very slippery and wobbly so care is needed entering and exiting the pool. It would benefit from a couple more sun loungers as there were only two. We did struggle to sleep as the neighbouring dogs barked through the night. Ubers are a great way of getting...

"This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "
