"Joel at the front desk was very friendly and amazing. Although we stayed only for one night, the hospitality we received was great. The breakfast was served on the table with plenty of items. The activities at the resort were good, we booked a package from their website as we only wanted to do some of the activities and the package they offer at the resort is all of them for $120. They allowed us to split up our activities over two days so we did most of them one day and the hanging bridges before we checked out the next. There aren’t many options for food around the resort and I feel more than 2 nights unless you are driving to do an activity...

"Very cute and quiet location. The walk to their entry to Rio Celeste was quick and the hike in super fun, especially the Tarzan swing and the swim in the beautiful blue river. "I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts.
