Very Clean and modern with friendly staff except for the maintenance guy who slammed doors at 11pm and told us to call reception if we didn’t like it! Otherwise excellent! Especially the breakfast team who were impeccable .

Really liked the room. Staff present everywhere upon arrival and friendly. Great location, price was good and the buffet breakfast was large with a good variety. It’s a new hotel in Toronto but it was clean and fresh even with the dirty winter boots, staff were cleaning up the lobby often. The lobby bar could definitely be larger. Would have been nice to have a drink with friends before going out to dinner.

I stayed at Riu for a staycation and for work. The room and hotel were clean. Staff was amazing and courteous. The gym is small but was able to get a few good workouts in. Only call out is room doors are heavy and don’t have a soft touch close so if you’re a light sleeper keep in mind that with late night returns or departures from guests may disrupt your sleep.

The hotel needs to do something about their hotel room doors. Everytime someone would close one it was a full on slam, wasn’t just one person ether. Every door on the floor made the same slamming noise which with people coming at all times of the night made getting a full nights sleep almost impossible. As well you could hear people talking in the halls as though they were right next to you in bed. The hotel really needs to invest in sound proofing their rooms in order to be considered a four star hotel. I’ve traveled to many places and this was the loudest four star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room staff did do a great job of being aware of when to clean the room which was appreciated. As well the breakfast staff was courteous and seemed very good at their jobs. The front desk check-in lady was the complete opposite and I found her rather abrasive. Perhaps she was just having a bad day as the concierge and bar staff were friendly.

Had a great overnight stay here. Nice hotel- modern and clean. Rooms very small but really all you need. Breakfast was great but needs more options for vegans. There was some information at checkin that would have been helpful- for instance that you need your key inserted inside the room in order to access lights/power within the room. Lots of friendly, helpful staff. Would stay here again. Great value for money - location and value for money can't be beat.

The staff were very attentive. The breakfast was very good..I wouldn’t say it was anything unique..it was the usual egg, bacon, sausage etc. but it was delicious. The rooms were clean.the only complaint I have is that they should have duvets instead of a thin blanket between two sheets. I had to really up the temperature in the room to have a comfortable sleep. The gym was nice and has all the equipment needed for a full body workout. The location of this hotel is perfect..the street cars run very often so it’s easy to get around the city. I would stay here again.
