"An older style property with much character but also modern amenities in the bedrooms. Very friendly, helpful staff throughout from reception to restaurant and bar as well as concierge and assistance with luggage. A lot to do and see around the hotel. It's a very hilly city so easy walking down to the river but a steep climb back up or use the funicular part way or taxi. Good food in the restaurant."
