The location for us was a perfect balance, close enough to Porto to be able to pop in and out but just far enough away to feel a slower pace and connect with the lifestyle. It provided easy access to Porto but also an excellent home base to explore the different areas of the north, including the Duro Valley. And I cannot say enough about the host, Sebatião.
