"The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the complimentary water, welcome wine bottle, and snacks downstairs are a plus. The spa is small but not crowded, and it has a steam room, sauna, rain shower, and relaxation room. Plus, it’s close to the city center and right next to an area with great restaurants (I recommend Atrevo, it’s absolutely divine). The only nitpick is the breakfast, which can feel a bit uninspired, but it’s still really good and they make fresh omelettes!"

"Really enjoyed our stay in Porto with Mirandesa Garden. Great location and a decent breakfast included. Thanks to Joy (hope I got the name right), who helped us a lot with the check-in. Can't beat the value for money overall."

"An elegant Pousada but the bedroom was very functional and modern without any soul. Easy access to parking and Porto by taxi. Staff were rather overworked so less attentive but very courteous."

"Room was lovely and clean, sink badly cracked but everything else ok. Breakfast excellent. spa facilities seemed very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. A bit out of the centre which was ok but for one thing - one street which we accidentally returned by on first afternoon glaringly the red light area - minutes from the hotel. I was glad I was not alone as I often am on holiday. Only reason I would not return to the hotel. Ok for a couple or group not a solo female traveller"
