"We checked in Thursday morning and had a lovely side sea view. Unfortunately, there was confusion over breakfast. We booked through Expedia believing it was included, but were told it wasn't. Expedia blamed the room type, although the hotel manager confirmed this was incorrect. Two other guests also told us they had experienced exactly the same issue with Expedia. If booking through Expedia, double-check what is included. On Friday, we requested fresh towels, water and ice, but despite several calls, these were delayed and the ice was forgotten. Breakfast itself was excellent, with a great selection and very good quality. I would love to see iced matcha available too. The hotel grounds and pool are beautiful, with lovely views. However, the gym is extremely disappointing for such a large hotel. It is tiny, poorly equipped, the weights only go to 10kg, and the mats are ripped and slippery. With six people inside, there wasn't enough space to exercise comfortably. At around 9:45pm, room service was brought to our room despite us not ordering it, so room numbers should be checked before disturbing guests late at night. A big positive was the manager, who went out of his way to locate my daughter's Lululemon jumper and my missing clothes. His help was excellent and much appreciated. Overall, beautiful hotel and grounds, excellent breakfast and wonderful views, but there are clear areas for improvement, particularly the Expedia breakfast issue."

"Destaco Muito positivamente a simpatia e cuidado do staff. Quanto à limpeza do quarto poderia ser melhorada, pois tinha lixo debaixo da cama e a banheira de hidromassagem precisa de ser limpa a fundo . Também destaco como ponto menos positivo o facto de a tomada ao lado da cama não ser de todo facilmente acessível, pois está atrás de uma gaveta."

"A had a wonderful stay. everything was perfect. The staff were wonderful, hard worker, helpful, always maintaining cleanness. Spa and gym exceptional (didn’t try the massage but another time I will). The service was wonderful. The food breakfast and Dinner was sublime with a lot of choice. The view from the building is impressive, especially the night. Everything was close, you can reach shops and restaurant walking… Lovely time really!!! *Just no iron really available at the hotel so bring your own if you think you will need one."

"We had a suite for three adults was lovely room, air conditioning was a must as was so hot when over there. Only downside to breakfast was went down for breakfast at 9.30 very little available and when asked was told bacon and egg would not be refilled, and no English breakfast tea. We went to the bar once took over 20minutes for three cocktails and then one was wrong bar was often busy but only one member of staff. The food in restaurant for dinner was lovely and our waiter Roman was brilliant. The staff were lovely and would order taxis for you. A table and bin in the lounge would have been nice, and a separate light just for toilet so do not disturb others. Light control panel could be temperamental and fridge was not very cold in room. Lovely clean, modern hotel very quiet area.."

"Excelente. Las habitaciones estaban en muy buenas condiciones, y limpias al igual que el resto del hotel. El hotel está ubicado cerca del centro histórico de Porto lo cual es muy conveniente. El staff muy amable y el desayuno muy variado. El aire acondicionado funcionó muy bien durante nuestra estadía en el hotel."

"The staff was great. Location was good. No drawers or storage spaces so for someone traveling for a month in Europe it was a little tough to manage suitcases and clothing. Bathroom shelf provided ample space."

"Everything was pretty clean, except for the fridge which needed a deep cleaning. There is a common shower on she second floor usually intended for men and women, which access is open when you use the toilets. That could be better divided, specially when we bring children."
