"We found the place unique and loved it for that. An apartment in an old building with great character. We did find it a little dark but otherwise it met our needs for our stay. It was well located and large in size so plenty of room for our things without tripping over them. It was a surprise to have a daily service ensuring we always had towels and supplies. "This place was such a disappointment. It is well-situated in the old, beautiful part of Lecce, but it is poorly cared-for. The floor was dirty when we arrived, and somebody left a cigarette on the nightstand. There were stains on the headboard (from people's heads, I guess), which was pretty gross. We had booked a room overlooking the ampitheatre, and since they had a problem with plumbing at that property, we were seamlessly diverted to another apartment in the historic center. Owners rep. met us at a parking lot outside the walls of Lecce to meet and escort us to the apartment. Excellent hospitality!"

"The property is not as advertised! We were booked for a 3 night stay and advised property manager that we were going to check out after 2 hours. The property is advertised as 2 bedroom, but its actually a 1 bedroom with a sitting area. Its not well stocked for a stay i.e. one wine glass. The kitchen is a fridge and a hot plate. The toilet handle is broken and U have to fiddle with it to make it flush. We asked for 1 night back and we were told no, only to see it advertised again the next day...

"We stayed for 11 days in this spacious apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lecce. Located just a few steps from the Duomo, it has everything you need. I would highly recommend it. We were surprised however about the 65 steps up to the front door. We are reasonably fit retirees but I think guests need to be warned about the staircase, especially with luggage. However we didn’t let this spoil our holiday."

"The apartment is very large and it looks exactly like in the picture. Only 15 minutes from the airport and 7 minutes from the train station. The only disadvantage is that there is no designated parking so you must park outside of the complex, but we were always able to find a spot."

"We loved our stay in Brindisi and this apartment was perfect for our stay. It is very large, clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent - we had a slight problem with the wifi and the owner was very fast in responding and resolving the issue. We were worried about parking on the street but we were able to find a place very close every time we needed one. The location is excellent - a short walk to the main street which has excellent shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this...

We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night."

"Really a terrific place to stay. Simple, efficient, well run, clean and an extremely helpful staff. The staff helped my daughter and I with great suggestions for day trips to nearby towns and beaches, including restaurant recommendations and useful tips on routes, etc. Breakfasts were great. Parking was very convenient and reasonably priced for the convenience of having a dedicated spot rather than constantly searching for street parking and having to pay. I saw some reviews mentioning sound from the bar in the evening but we experienced nearly complete silence in our 2nd floor room. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the region."
