"This was our 5th year staying at Casale Giacinta. It is an oasis of calm, surrounded by wonderful scenery (mountains and sea) and offers a great base for exploring the national parks of Majella and Gran Sasso or the coast and beaches north and south of Pescara. The villa is really well appointed with air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and there is a barbecue area, bicycles, a table tennis table and a wonderful swimming pool. It has great views of the valley and is near Sulmona and just an hour from the beaches in Pescara. There is plenty of space and plenty of beds. Having three bathrooms was great. "Eric and Rita’s house is perfectly situated in the historic center. Every floor has a wonderful view of the beautiful landscape with the mountains in the distance. Communication with our hosts was excellent. Loreto Aprutino is a lovely little, somewhat sleepy, medieval town. It gives visitors a perspective into small town life in Italy. "The location of the property to restaurants was great. However, the property is tucked away on a side street. If arriving after 7 pm, guests should be told not to drive past the Pizzeria on the right since house numbers are difficult to see in the dark."
