"Great location! Very nice room in the old section of town with many restaurants & shopping within walking distance. It's relatively close to the train station (about 15 min walk), but it's easy to take public transportation or a taxi. We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked very nice with a well-appointed breakfast room. The owner (I believe), was very nice when checking in and helpful when we ran into a small problem. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you prefer staying in boutique hotels rather than large, impersonal chain hotels. "

"This is a great hotel to stay if you rent a car to visit the Loire Valley. It is close to the city of Tours and it has a pleasant environment in the hotel. Staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast needs a few adjustments considering how busy the hotel is, like a second coffee machine and toaster. The room had a mini kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and utensils. The pool temperature was slightly cold for me . Overall, I recommend the hotel and definitely I will be back"

"Lovely stay. Thanks for a beautiful visit to Tours. Many restaurants near by. Only suggestion would be to supply ice buckets and wine glasses in the room as well as a self serve ice machine (too cool that lovely Loire white wine and sparkling that is bought)"

"Great location. Ancient building but updated decor which is lovely. I included the breakfast option which is similar to those i have had in Germany with sliced meats, cheeses, fruit variety, juices along with sliced baguettes small croissants, jam and butter. Small hotel with friendly proprietor. The only advisory is that you must go up one flight of stairs to the hotel without an elevator"

"I absolutely adored this hotel! The guys who own it are very kind, knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming and their hotel is wonderful! I was in room 18, and it was so cozy and decorated great, very comfortable and just plain really cool. To sum it up, even though I was in a foreign country, with foreign people, a foreign language, with foreign foods and culture, this hotel made me feel right at home! A+++++"
