We stayed at Oceania L'Univers Tours for a few days while touring the chateaux of the Loire Valley. The sitting room and bedroom were large and lovely, and the jetted tub and shower were great. The décor was quite modern, in contrast to the decidedly 19th century public areas. The breakfast buffet was excellent. This was one of the most romantic and enchanting places we have ever stayed. The grounds were beautiful, the hotel was stunning, the 7 course meal was unforgettable. We were there in spring so it was like our private home. We didn't have time to use the spa facilities but from what we saw they too were most likely splendid. If you are a king this place might only be adequate, but for us mortals this is over the top.

We stayed 15 days in France and this was our favorite hotel.. Room was exceptional staff was fantastic with excellent Wifi and Free Parking.We just loved this hotel. This is 5 stars plus.. Now the downside.. The Parking is horrible. You need to almost be a stunt driver to even get into the gate of the hotel. A sub compact barely fits. I suggest they somehow expand the parking so the cars easily fit into the gate and lot.

I had stayed here about 20 years ago. This time we stayed in on of the petit rooms which was more than adequate for the two of us. The staff was very accommodating with helping with dinner reservations since the chateau was totally booked for the next two nights. We had great Dionne's in Amboise. A table opened up due to a cancelation our second night. We had an excellent dinner with very attentive service.

Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit.

Beautiful hotel a few kilometers off the main road between Blois and Amboise and surrounded by open fields and green grass. This was the nicest room of our trip (and most expensive). We had dinner two nights at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed both tremendously.
