Bruno de la Palme and his wife Marion were exceptional hosts. Bruno is extremely knowledgeable of local wines, local producers, and frankly general knowledge. His wine tours cannot be missed. Conversations were full of interesting facts and details, especially relating to wine. We were treated as if we were long lost friends staying at their home.

This is by far the best experience! The host is a master chef & he offers to prepare a gourmet dinner for the guests paired with local wines. We experienced a 3 course meal created with the finest fresh ingredients, many from his garden. This was a 5 star restaurant rating for sure! Thank you for a one of a kind stay! The room, gardens and gallery are beautiful. Such a unique place from which to explore the Barbizon painters, and the woods which inspired them.

Everything was unique about this place, the location, the warm and generous host, her dog Twiggy. We had a delicious breakfast every morning including freshly made crepes. At the last minute we were given a ride to the nearest train station ! I will never forget Nicole and her place. Ligia

This is a great family owned and run castle in the heart of the castle district. Train to Paris is walking distance as are fine restaurants.

What a delightful experience! We decided to splurge and stay in a Château since we were going to the Loire Valley, and were so glad we did! Our room was in one of the cottages, so it was quiet and felt like we had our own house. The breakfast at the Château was wonderful, particularly for the view. Outstanding service as well! Great proximity to Tours and the chateaux.

We stayed 15 days in France and this was our favorite hotel.. Room was exceptional staff was fantastic with excellent Wifi and Free Parking.We just loved this hotel. This is 5 stars plus.. Now the downside.. The Parking is horrible. You need to almost be a stunt driver to even get into the gate of the hotel. A sub compact barely fits. I suggest they somehow expand the parking so the cars easily fit into the gate and lot.

I had stayed here about 20 years ago. This time we stayed in on of the petit rooms which was more than adequate for the two of us. The staff was very accommodating with helping with dinner reservations since the chateau was totally booked for the next two nights. We had great Dionne's in Amboise. A table opened up due to a cancelation our second night. We had an excellent dinner with very attentive service.

Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit.

Room was clean and comfortable. There was ample off street parking.

Extraordinary location. Everything is beautiful and well thought of. Crazy beautiful art pieces in every room and super gentle cool and kind stuff. The restaurant Le Daniel is extraordinary. Service and food. Should be at least Michelin recommended.

Très bon état pour un immeuble du 18ème siècle, chambres et salle de bain spacieuses et en excellent état. Très bon petit déjeuner et le meilleur, le restaurant !!! Cuisine gastronomique à un prix raisonnable. Recommandé pour quelques jours de paix et de tranquillité à la campagne et visiter les villes voisines. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Beautiful hotel a few kilometers off the main road between Blois and Amboise and surrounded by open fields and green grass. This was the nicest room of our trip (and most expensive). We had dinner two nights at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed both tremendously. Excellent food and generally excellent service, not to mention watching the cows roaming back and forth beyond the windows.
