Kalama has interesting spots to take in and the drive to Multnomah Falls and Mount St. Helen’s was easy. The host was easy to communicate with and we loved our stay there. "Magical mountain lodge. Off-grid, but it has every amenity. Gorgeous views. Remote, private and luxurious. The owners were welcoming and responded immediately to any questions. Kid friendly which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend. Extremely private."

Be aware there is not a door to the very large master bathroom so you can see someone sitting on the toilet from the king bed! — a bit weird for a house that was recently remodeled and the owners clearly spent a lot of money to do so.
