"The hotel is an old building with solid walls, so the rooms were quite quiet. Our visit co-incided with scaffolding entirely covering the outside of the building for remedial work on the walls and roof, but although off-putting there was no noise or dust from the works - just a pair of feet dangling from the scaffolding outside our window on the day of our arrival! "The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs.
