"This hotel was a great choice. The location is terrific - right on the river and a short drive to Yellowstone. Splurge for the river view if you can. The sun sets behind the mountains across the river. The hotel provided smores and fire pits, which was delightful. And the hotel restaurant turned out to be the best choice in town in October. Just keep an eye out for elk in the evenings when you walk out of your room. They are everywhere in October, which is rutting season. All over the parking lots, roads. It’s pretty cool, but also they can get kinda close kinda fast when you are walking around. I’d totally stay here again."

"Enjoyed our stay. We rented one of the rooms with a kitchen. Floor area had a little residue but could have been missed by the cleaning crew. Staff were great and helpful when we had questions. Parking for bigger vehicles could be a little tricky. View from our room of the river was great. Deer and Elk on the property each night."

"The teepees were awesome the only problem is the bathrooms were a little distance from the TP and during the cold weather it was not convenient for a night walk. Not really the fault of the teepee. Other than that it was a great start to a trip."

"Spacious cabin. GPS had trouble getting us to the actual location. It would have been best to know the condition of the road before booking!! THAT was an unwelcome surprise as we were driving a classic car. It is NOT "within walking distance to food"!! Enjoyed the mule deer at night and the historic, cozy atmosphere of the cabin."
