"Overall it was a good stay for the price. Should include in the description though, it is under renovation. Beds were not great and need updating as well. Otherwise a good stay. Host was friendly and helpful."

"Truly perfect location for enjoying Cranberry Lake, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and Lake Placid. Pet friendly, yet very clean house and we appreciated the DVD selection haha. We watched a ton of Seinfeld"

"This was a wonderful home for the week. The cottage is well equipped.There are so many great places to enjoy the cottage’s lake views. The pontoon boat and kayaks were a big hit. Beds were very comfortable and the sleeping porch was a big hit. The host was very responsive. The lake was beautiful and we hope to stay again. Highly recommend!"

"The property was exactly like the description and pictures. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. It was beautiful and large. The cabin had everything we needed. There is no A/C but we brought window fans and the night was cooler so it wasn’t an issue. I Recommend staying here. We had fun! The sound of the creek was so relaxing."

Waterfront Harrisville Home w/ Outdoor Fireplace!

"So, we often stay with my brother-in-law’s family in a cabin so we need a cabin to fit 8. This cabin definitely fit all of us & still had a pull-out couch in the living room if 1-2 more people had to fit. This cabin is very nice, clean, the host was awesome & answered all our questions! We usually spend most of our time over on the SE side since family have permanent cabins over there. Most of our time the cabin was in the mornings/evenings/sleeping. Being able to park on the lower parking area was nice when coming home at dark, it was lit well with multiple outside lights & stair lights. Beds were comfy, had all the linens & towels we could need & beach towels downstairs too! It had pretty much anything you could want for baking/cooking, plenty of plates, cups, & silverware. Was also happy to have a washer & dryer so we could wash ½ way through our trip. They had several A/C window units throughout the cabin & it kept the cabin plenty cool for us! Only issue we had was the water pressure in the bathroom shower. I should’ve mentioned it early on to the host but didn’t because we’ve stayed in lots of the lake cabins & knew that can always be an issue here. When leaving we mentioned it to the cleaning person & she mentioned something new with the water system was just installed & prob just needed to be readjusted. That was my bad! We loved this cabin & would love to stay here again in a few years. Thank you for renting out your cabin away from home to us."

Lakefront Charming 3-bedroom cottage on beautiful Cranberry Lake

"It was a lovely cottage. One surprise to us was that the lake was farther away from the cottage than we thought etc. It was a walk getting down to it with many uneven steps. Probably not great for older people and small children. Also its very wooded so you only see little bit if the lake from the deck. The cottage could use some more hooks or railings for towels etc. The kids enjoyed the dock, paddleboards and kayaks."

"We had the most amazing stay at this cabin! It was the perfect getaway for my two boys that are on the autism spectrum. Being away from the noise and distractions of everyday life, with no cell service or WiFi, gave us the opportunity to truly slow down and enjoy each other. We spent our days canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and exploring, and our evenings around the fire making s’mores with the dogs. The peaceful surroundings and privacy gave my boys the freedom to just be themselves and enjoy everything at their own pace. Watching them laugh, explore, and find their happy place together was something I’ll never forget.This cabin gave us more than a vacation; it gave us quality time, beautiful memories, and a chance to reconnect as a family. We are already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend this cabin to any family looking for a peaceful, private getaway. "
