"We loved the proximity to everything in the village. We had our own private balcony with lake view. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious."

"The cabin and location was perfect for what we were looking for. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed and more.The road is quiet and great for kids, we enjoyed the fire place every night we were there despite some spotty weather. The only thing that we didn’t love was that we have never stayed somewhere outside of a hotel/resort where there is staff 24/7 where we had to meet someone at check in. It wouldn’t make me not want to stay there again it’s just for our careers and family dynamic it was difficult for us to give a set time of arrival to meet someone until we were making the 2.5-3 hr drive. It worked out fine that one of us was able to make it there and meet the property manger to get our keys. It was odd though that once we received the keys we were told no worries on locking the property when we were in and out which seemed silly as to why we needed to meet someone for check in. Aside from the odd check in everything else was amazing."

"My only issue was the fire pit and picnic table were on the side of the cabin when ideally I would love them along the river like a couple other cabins I saw. Other than that we had a great time and so did our dogs. Thanks so much"

"The cabins are spotless and provided everything we needed for our stay; plenty of towels, pots and pans, and comfortable beds. The store next door has a wide variety of freshly made baked goods and premade meals. And, the property is very quiet and relaxing."

"We loved the cabin in the woods! It was peaceful and inviting and very convenient to get to town and hikes, etc. Matt would immediately respond to any questions. Would definitely stay here again."

Peaceful Pines Cottage 5 minutes from Old Forge - Lake Access to Lake Tekini

"We enjoyed our stay at peaceful Pines. The Okara Lakes area is lovely and it was close to Old Forge. The cottage was quaint and well cared for. I was disappointed that the amenities list was not accurate. The description said the kitchen was fully stocked. However when we went to make coffee, there was no coffee or coffee filters offered. Additionally, both drip makers were dirty and in need of cleaning. We were also told we had to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, which for the price we paid for the rental was a bit much. Lastly, the washing machine was not operable as it was under repair. For 900 for a 3 night stay, I would expect this to be a working amenity,"

ADK Lake House Vacation, Cozy 5 Bedroom & 2 Bath

"We had a great stay at Mohawk Pines. The house has 3 levels and made our room arrangements very easy. The house has a whole home generator that was amazing for us. The surrounding area lost power for multiple hours and we were able to use the generator for the house. The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms and window AC units, The basement level has 2 bedrooms as well with no AC, but it stayed very cool down there. The main floor has no AC and got a little hot. If you stay in the summer, I would bring extra fans for sure. The Kitchen had most of the essentials and we only had to use a few of the pans we brought. The backyard is private and has a nice size fire pit. There is a building across the street that sells wheelbarrow's of firewood if you need it. The owner Mike was very responsive and checked in during the week to ensure we didn't need anything. Overall it was a nice house and great location."
