"The cabin was beautiful with everything we needed. It had really nice artwork that inspired me to draw. The front porch was relaxing and large enough to fit our group of 6. Cute town and a beach nearby. I would definitely recommend."

"Rented this place for a romantic getaway and the listing was so nostalgic just had to experience itThe place is gorgeous. The owners put such thought and money into little items.Couch is exquisite not made for lounging but the bedroom was extra comfortableCheck in and out was no issueThe owner Chris was super responsive to questions. We had an issue with the internet speed and he was faster than 5G coming down to look at the box.The owner has beautiful pictures posted of the property I have included all the special items The description of the property was excellent just note the grounds is shared with other rentals so privacy is limited. Check out is 11am and they were already setting up tents at 10am.Only negative I would like a closet or rod to hang clothes I still give 5 stars... Totally recommendWhen in town you must visit Bridge St diner.. Walking distance and so good"

Quaint 2-bedroom cabin on Oxbow Lake perfect for relaxing lakefront getaways

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in mid July, celebrating our anniversary. This cabin was beautiful, very clean, very comfortable, the perfect spot to relax. Check in was super easy. The host, Susan was excellent with communication, and had left a welcome basket for us with snacks and drinks and a lovely note, a very nice touch. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was well-stocked and spotless. Kitchen has everything you could need. The yard right in front of the cabin is a prime stargazing spot, absolutely stunning views on a clear night. The lake. It’s breathtaking. One evening it was so still it was like a mirror, and the sunset was incredible. We didn’t end up using the canoe but we plan to next time we book. The location is also perfect. Speculator is a short drive down the road, maybe 10 minute drive, and there’s everything you could need in town. Lots of fun things to do nearby (like CampStore!), lots of good and great restaurants, and so many hiking trailheads. 10/10 recommend, and we’re already planning next year’s trip!"

"We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July weekend! The location was perfect for our travels back and forth with easy drives to Cooperstown, Herkimer, and Howe Caverns.The cabin and property were beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Chris was a great host—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!"

"My family of 15 have stayed in several different vacation homes, this one was the best by far. The host was easy to reach and very receptive. The home was spacious and was exactly as posted. We all loved it. The grandkids are talking about next year and what bed they are going to sleep in."
