"It’s a beautiful hotel, and overall, I had a great time with only a few issues.
The room did not seem to be properly dusted, which can be difficult for allergy sufferers. I am extremely sensitive to dust, so it made my stay somewhat uncomfortable. That said, I am aware of how sensitive I am and usually do some of my own cleaning when travelling.
The main issue was the hot water. I was very frustrated because it caused me to be late, and I ended up having to take a cold shower. Considering the amount of money we spent on our stay, this was disappointing. What made the situation worse was that we had to raise the issue three times before a manager finally spoke with my fiancé.
Unfortunately, the manager did not seem pleased about having to address the situation, which made the experience even more frustrating. I completely understand that issues can happen, but I expected better communication and customer service from a hotel of this standard.
Despite these issues, it is a beautiful hotel, and we did enjoy our time overall.
