"Be careful of staying at this location, my vehicle was broken into and all of my tools were stolen. Apparently, this location has done nothing to deter this type of activity. There is no security and the staff was not very helpful."

"Just got back from a 6-day stay and unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience. The staff was pretty rude most of the time, and we never once saw housekeeping during our entire stay. Trash was never collected and the cans in the halls were overflowing. No fresh towels, no sheet changes, and no toiletries were provided at all. The room also didn’t have a microwave or fridge, which made things pretty inconvenient. We also couldn’t find an ice machine anywhere on the property the entire time we were there. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either, so getting a good night’s sleep was tough. One positive was the poolside view from our room — it was actually beautiful and looked very inviting. Unfortunately, the pool temperature felt about one degree above hypothermia, so actually enjoying it was another story. I will say the “wildlife”… or shall I say the interesting characters around the property… were definitely entertaining at times. 😅 Overall, I guess for the price you get what you get. Just sharing our experience so others know what to expect. "

"Loved the newly paved back patio, deck and kayak dock! The river is absolutely stunning at this location, crystal clear! We saw manatees, otters, turtles and tons of fish from very large snook, bass and Gar to snapper, sheepshead and jack! "

"Accomodations were everything we hoped for! The location was beautiful and the house was quaint. Our host was communicative and we had a great time!"

"We only had a couple of questions when we arrived, which were answered promptly. Chris and Justine were great! The house had everything!!! I loved that they had cleaning supplies and soaps for the washer and dryer. We stayed over 10 days so it was really nice to have a mop and broom. We loved the bed in the master, and my husband now wants to buy that mattress haha. We fish quite a bit and just off the dock out back there were so many species. We caught largemouth bass, perch, sunnies, and a lot of mullet (which i smoked on the propane grill, which had plenty of propane and an extra full tank). (I left wood smoking chips there if anyone wants to give it a go) The ones we didnt catch but saw- i guess theres a local otter, which tried to steal our mullet on the stringer ha, snook- just cruised right in front of the dock and was easily 25", sheepshead which were in/around 7", turtles, and these really pretty green needlefish. If you're a bird watcher, you would love just sitting on the porch or docks. We even had some sort of vulture-i saw its claws haha trying to steal our bait. But seriously it was really nice sitting on the porch in the mornings and just listening to the symphony. Outstanding house, and fyi the temps went down to around 56F and the units they have worked great on heating the house/they also cool. My husband loved it so much he started looking at properties. "
