"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

"The hotel has a beautiful midcentury design, kind staff, and an excellent restaurant serving southern Thai food. Most of the hotel’s guests are Thai, so the food is up to local standards. Great base for exploring Trang."

"Wow! Such a lovely place. I really enjoyed Trang while staying here. The hotel is like typical Thai good budget hotel. I strongly recommend this place for really great location and friendly staff! I could go many places by walking. And about staffs, they are really willing to do everything they can do to solve problems without hesitancy. "

"Hotel public are and room was clean and nice. Air conditioner in one of the rooms we had was poor and noisy in the other it was ok. Biggest downside was the noice from the roads next to the hotel. Two main roads with lots of traffic all day and night. WiFi was bad but ok for reading news and email."

"We think that the hotel is very nice but there is not a lot to do in this part of town. Room was great and had the best hot shower in Trang .
As we stay for a month or two it is priced out by cheaper hotels in better positions."

"Well maintained property throughout the
complex. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I look forward to a return visit."
"The triple room we booked was big and very cute. I loved it but our toilet was plugged on arrival. They did not have a plunger so we had to move rooms up a flight of stairs to two double rooms. I had asked at booking which floor the triple room was on as I wanted a main floor but now we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs, and our group was separated. Other than this slight inconvenience, the staff were very friendly and helpful. After the night market we had drinks on the patio with live music which was lovely. Beds were comfortable & a/c worked well. I’d stay again. "

"The front desk staff were lovely. Compared to the last two hotels I stayed at, the receptionists greeted us with smiles. The hotel itself is old and the rooms are basic. I could not get the television to work but the air conditioner worked well. The bathroom had a lot of chrome which was discoloured but it was spacious and clean enough. The room had a window which let in a nice breeze so we didn’t always even need the air conditioner. The value for money was very good!"
