We had no trouble accommodating the staircase to reach the bed on the second floor however, I would caution anyone with mobility issues as it may be difficult for some people to navigate. "This apartment was perfect! Looks exactly like photos, fabulous neighborhood- bakery, gelato and wine store all right down stairs. Sipping wine on the balcony before dinner was lovely. Definitely recommend for solo, a couple or two friends couch sleeper was even comfortable. "
