"We had a great stay at Cenica the Curio Collection in Porto! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was great; walkable to the historic district and some great restaurants literally across the street. The last morning we had the breakfast buffet at the hotel and it was LOVELY! So many great options, wonderful staff who make great cappuccinos, and delicious food. One odd thing was that you are unable to control the thermostat in the room. So if you like to sleep with a very cold room, you have to call down to the front desk and they adjust the temperature of the room for you. We had never encountered that before. But when asked, they did do it and the temperature was fine for sleeping! The bed was comfortable, the gym is a bit small for a mainstream hotel, but the equipment was good. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!"

"We appreciated the quite and the use of water kettle,coffee maker and mini fridge. Breakfast was outstanding. Something for everyone. Loved the freshly pressed orange juice and cappuccinos.Only improvement could be the watery scrambled eggs and pillows."

"First time to Portugal and knew nothing. This hotel was perfect. It was in a safe place to walk. Some of my tours seems far but by uber only under $5 euro to get to down closer to water. The shuttle to the airport was exceptional. The front desk was great. Matteo walked us to room to show us everything. The room was very spacious and clean. There were 3 fruits and some chocolate waters to welcome us along w water. It was perfect after a long tour stopping at 3 cities from Lisbon. I highly recommend this place. Breakfast was nice and even had the pastel de nata and boiled eggs , cheese, wonderful fruit and croissants."

"The room we had was excellent. It was big and clean, with a full fridge, stove, oven, etc. Everything you need to eat there... but no microwave. We had a private terrace with a table and chairs next to their small garden and summer bar. The staff were amazing. It is a great hotel very close to the metro, restaurants, and a convenience store. Perfect hotel for Porto."
