Our stay at the Lorna Doone B&B could not have been better! We loved everything about our experience in this beautiful house with fantastically friendly hosts. Great room, a delicious breakfast and wonderful people who made us feel like royalty and family at the same time. Certainly one of the best places that we have ever had the luck to experience.

I had a very speedy check in, and the team at Avoncourt were very helpful accomodating a quick and delicious breakfast, and even giving me a choice of which room I wanted on my arrival. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Ilfracombe!

The George was a great place to stay, dog friendly and all the staff were great and very welcoming and helpful. Although they don’t serve food in the evening, they were very accommodating, being very happy for us to bring a takeaway back to the dinning room to eat there. The breakfast was also excellent as were the staff waiting on!!.

This is annokd hotel maintained beautifully. The staff was very helpful. Taking the time to find me a room near the elevator which i really appreciated. I woukd not however recommend eating at thur restaurant, called the bank . I waited iver an hour, with noone advising me of the wait- and then the pork belly was dry and stringy- some parts inedible. To their credit tho they did not charge me for the meal. Its in the old part of town which also was nice.
