"We enjoyed the peace and quiet and end of road privacy. The cabin was clean and well maintained and we felt very much at home. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone or stay there again. "

"We had a fabulous experience! The cabin was as advertised and a perfect location for a family get away! We loved the property and proximity to the water. My kiddos enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat. We especially enjoyed s’mores around the fire. The remote location was peaceful and restful, but close enough to Acadia and all it has to offer. A perfect family retreat! Just what we needed as a family to kick off summer 2025!"

"This cabin is perfect for a small family with a car. It’s in the middle of everything. It’s a basic house but has everything you need- nice hot shower, cooking utensils, camp fire, etc. I still dream of the naps we had on the sofa. The surroundings are peaceful with lots of deer strolling by. "

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"We stayed at the Boathouse for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted and more. The space is rustic yet comfortable and has a kitchenette that allowed us to make breakfast in the mornings and enjoy coffee and tea alongside our favorite feature, the wood stove. The shower had hot water and the outhouse was comfortable. We were able to unplug from it all and left feeling so rejuvenated. Hope to be back soon!"

"Driftwood Cottage was the perfect setting for our family. It was secluded and serene but also close enough to Blue Hill for easy shopping and strolling. It was just a 1 hour drive from Acadia NP which made a great day trip but it all meant that we got away from the crowds. We enjoyed just chilling on the screened porch but also loved walks along the neighborhood roads and kayaking on the tidal river. The view of the river from the house was so calming and interesting. We loved watching the seals...

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"The location is great, very secluded and private. Amazing views right out the bedroom window. Has that remote cabinet feel on the inside. It's about an hour away from Bar Harbor which was perfect for us to make a day trip down there.Also local oysters and lobster are abundant. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the shower, it was either way too hot or way too cold, should be a simple fix to switch the controls."

"Would’ve been a great overall stay for Bar Harbor. Very convenient to town, beaches, and Acadia National Park. Great room very clean apart from the vibrator left in the drawer if the bedside table. Staff immediately came and removed it and re-cleaned the room but no compensation offered which wasn’t necessary but would’ve been nice but we already got a really good deal on our room price so it wasn’t the end of the world. That being said, we would definitely stay again. The blueberry crumble coffee was the best hotel coffee I’ve ever had. "
