"Mr & Mrs Grasso were really nice but Mr Grasso did not respond to any emails until 2 days before we got there. He does not speak English but we could have sent a message in French. The pool was not heated but was not an issue but the pool does need a good clean especially round the steps. Internally the house was exceptionally well fitted with what looks like some particularly expensive items but was quirky, e.g. one bedroom door would not shut, toilet door would not fully open glass windows...

The kitchen was well equipped and had cleaning products & store cupboard essentials which was much appreciated rather than having to go out and buy everything. The pool and outside area was clean and spacious. We did not have a car but the bus stop was very close with regular services into Annecy. Any questions for the owner were replied to quickly. Situated in a great location on the lake, close to shops and restaurants but with a lovely private garden straight into the lake. Rooms are light, spacious and beautifully decorated. "This was a very short notice booking and the owners were very helpful to sort this out. Another location had fallen through for us and we all had leave booked. Our children also had flights booked (Geneva) so at short notice (3-4 days) we needed a house for 6 people. The owners did their best to help us out and we appreciate that.
