"We had a great time at Gold Cove! The house had everything we needed, including gas on site! Kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, tools, gadgets and small appliances - even had a Ninja blender! The water was quite warm - spa like - on the private side, public side was a bit nicer temp. The only downside was a boat rental and not being able to have it at the dock at the house, but we made do and kept it at the marina which was 5 min away. Adam was always checking in via text to make sure all was good and we didn't need anything else. We played pickleball, volleyball and a little soccer and indoor was a pool table, ping pong and air hockey that the kids loved. Definitely a place to return to :-) "
"Beautifully renovated historic home that welcomes you from the moment you drive in. The property is vast and the immediate grounds are very well maintained with many activities to interest all-pool, hiking trails, and croquet. The public spaces androoms are well put together while maintaining their historic integrity. Grab a crab cocktail at the in-house bar and have dinner in any of the well appointed dining spaces. A great place to stay before/after a visit to Monticello."
