"The location was great especially when you look for a quiet place. Unfortunately no wifi available and you have to shower in a sitting bath. No cars in the street and friendly people for neighbours. in a few minutes you are at the lake and the boulevard with a variety of restaurants and watersport possibilities."

"We only stayed for one night while traveling through Provence. The location is great in Cotignac, only a short walk to town center where there are many great restaurants and shops. The town is beautiful. The apartment was very clean and seemed newly renovated. It is small but met our needs perfectly. You do have to carry luggage up a couple of flights of stairs but this was not a problem for us."

"We stayed a month and became immersed in this beautiful French town in magnificent surroundings. The apartment is central and ideal for local shops, cafes bars and restaurants. Catherine and George are fabulous hosts. So friendly and helpful. We definitely hope to return "

"There is hardly a proper way to express how lovely our stay has been. As far as the the studio and outdoor surroundings are concerned I won‘t repeat what has already been said by others. We thought this the most beautiful place (still within walking distance to charming Lorgues)! Elisabeth and Xavier are hosts in the best sense of the meaning. We will look forward to coming back!"

"We received an extremely warm welcome from Jean-Louis and Nicole to begin a memorable week in the foothills of the Alps. The studio is a 5 minute walk to Saint Vallier where there are bars, restaurants and a weekly market. "This apartment is adorable and spacious. I had breakfast on the terrace every day while my husband preferred the living room. The apartment was easy to keep cool thanks to the many windows and two powerful fans. My husband and I were comfortable, and we were only a short walk to everything in the city. Only negatives would be the moisture in the bathroom, which has an unfavorable odor, and the noise in the morning. They tend to street clean at 7 am every day right outside the bedroom. This...

"Lovely location but the property needs a bit of tlc. We were lucky there were no other guests for our first three nights as when they did arrive we had to leave the relaxing veranda because they polluted our atmosphere with their smoking. Also the wifi does not work - not a problem for us as we have plenty of mobile data for our limited needs. All the same we hope to come back - our host, Tony, was very affable."

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."

Beautiful and charming simple hotel

"Great view of the lake, good food and good service. Room conditions need improvement as two electrical outlets didn’t work in our room. Only outlet working was the one for the TV, They brought us an extension cord and unplugged the TV to solve the problem. Room condition and facilities are very basic but I guess that’s what we paid for. "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Staff are all excellent. Very very helpful and friendly. Great location. Stunning views. Fabulous facilities - pool, games room, books, information, grounds. Breakfast is simple but excellent. Everything you would need. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. Great small family run hotel. "
