"very comfortable stay.excellent.only encountered 1 miserable member of staff(in the bar)all weekend,but i guess not everyone loves their job 😀 everyone else were lovely and helpful.i have stayed at this hotel a few times now,my go to whenever am in newcastle."

"We stayed at Dakota Newcastle while visiting the city for a show at The Glasshouse – a gift for my parents and a treat for us as well. This hotel easily ranks among the best we’ve experienced. Though relatively new, its stylish, modern design—with a moody yet welcoming atmosphere—exudes sophistication and comfort. We booked standard rooms (207 and 208), which were impeccably clean, comfortable, and furnished to a very high standard. Each room featured a large TV cleverly disguised as a mirror, offering a wide range of channels and streaming options. The bathrooms were equally impressive, complete with a luxurious rainfall shower and Molton Brown toiletries—a lovely touch. Even the addition of a night light in the bathroom was a great touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous selection of cereals, pastries, and cooked options to choose from. The service throughout our stay was outstanding, especially at check-in and during breakfast. The concierge, in particular, was a standout—and a real credit to the hotel. The professionalism and attention to detail from all staff were truly first-class and we will definitely visit again."

"Fantastic stay. The staff were all super helpful. We didn’t realise when booking that we had a superior room which meant that we could check out later and receive a voucher for the bar. Room was immaculate and beds very comfortable. "

"Nice friendly welcome, helpful staff, clean room, very good breakfast, very close to the A1 motorway and the room was very quite. Some areas in the room needed repainting or touching up, but overall very good value for money."
