"I sincerely wanted to rate this a 5* as the pics looked amazing and they showed the villa as newly renovated. I can attest that it was definitely decorated but this villa has not been renovated. Water (and geckos) comes in through the gaps in the doors by the pool if it rains. My golf clubs and other items near the door was soaked after a regular tropical rain down pour. Within 24 hours the master bath toilet was continually running and we requested support the next day. Maintenance guy...

"Lovely little place, near a couple of quiet and nice beaches, as well as small lakes and waterfalls. The place was clean and just large enough for our family of five. If you're looking for a quiet place, away from the city, this is it. We would certainly come back, if they had decent A/C, as it is, it's too hot. Some points of improvements: - just 1 mobile A/C unit, we suggest adding 2 so every bedroom can be cooled or - even better - a split-unit A/C; - not a lot of cutlery, e.g., just one...

"My husband and I had a great stay at Victory Villa. The room as recently renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The host who met us was very friend and informative. He communicated directly and what to expect when driving to Victory Villa. The road getting up there isn't great, but totally doable in a car whether day or night. For someone with major passenger anxiety, I didn't particularly enjoy the drive. However, it was well worth it once we reached."
