Top View Cottage in Lake Arenal

Nested in the mountains of Rio Chiquito-Tilaran, overlooking Lake Arenal and the Arenal and Tenorio Volcanoes, this cottage is inside an active horse ranch, where you feel immense in nature, animals and views. It has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room and a big terrace with Jacuzzi. 4x4 is necessary, is recommended to arrive with daylight as the road is unpaved and you'll have to cross a small creek.

The space
Our property is perfectly situated for exploring some of Costa Rica’s most iconic destinations. Nestled between La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Tilarán, you’ll enjoy both convenience and tranquility during your stay.

You can reach La Fortuna—home to the breathtaking Arenal Volcano—in approximately 50 minutes. The world-renowned cloud forests of Monteverde are just about a 1-hour scenic drive away, while the charming town of Tilarán is only 35 minutes from the property, offering easy access to local shops, restaurants, and essentials.

This central location makes it the perfect base for adventure, nature exploration, and experiencing the best of the region, all while enjoying a peaceful and relaxing setting.

Guest access
Guests arriving before 5pm will be greeted by our staff and shown around. After 5pm the keys delivery will be coordinated.

Other things to note
Please remember that a 4x4 is necessary roads are a bit damaged, expect unpaved roads and there is a small river you'll have to cross just before getting to the ranch. Also plan on bringing your own meals, as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away.
