Hotel was in a great location convenient to the train station as well as the town center . Communication regarding check in was great as well as the check in process. Room was well appointed and had everything we could need , with a noce balcony. Hotel features a great rooftop for enjoying the sunset if you like which we did take advantage of one night. Breakfast was nicely served with plenty of options for all. Hotel offered us beach towels to use if we would like as well as offering a option to use a beach club they work with of preferred. Thank you for a great stay and we hope to see you again soon as we really enjoyed Tropea.

We enjoyed our stay. We were in a deluxe double, no balcony, and it was very spacious. The bed was large, very comfortable, shower was great, everything clean and well maintained. Dorothea at check in went out of her way to assist us, helping us get our bigger vehicle safely parked underground. Virginia and Francesca, the very helpful kitchen staff, were wonderful! As was Concetta, from housekeeping, who helped guise us out of the parking upon departure…Breakfasts were delicious, lots of choices, and lots of veggies! We definitely recommend Solmaris Tropea and its proximity to all of the beauty of Tropea. Gracie Mille!

Elizabeta checked us in and was super friendly and helpful with her restaurants suggestions and overall guidance. Every staff member was very welcoming and helpful. The room was quiet, super clean and had a balcony with a little drying table. The hotel has an elevator/lift and parking on the premises on a first come first serve basis. It’s a 5 minute walk from the center of the city but far enough to be a quiet restful place. I would go back in a second.

This is a smart hotel where there is no one staffing the front desk after 3! We were delayed in Checking in until 9 pm so the while procedure emailed to us was a little anxiety producing. However, everything went smoothly. We had not reserved parking as we didn’t realize we had to 24 hours in advance, but we were fortunate to find street parking right in front of the hotel, which was good for getting our bags in the room. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom with its jacuzzi tub provided great relaxation after a very bad journey. The morning breakfast bar was extensive and varied and very much enjoyed. We were able to walk into town easily but the hotel is in a quiet area with a wonderful pizzeria across the way.

It was fantastic staff room breakfast ocean view. Front staff booked beach spot with chairs and umbrella. Ladies in breakfast area gave me apple cake recipe wrote out for me. I will make when I return home. Hotel in great area quick walk to everything. Felt safe no issues. Great town.

The staff were wonderful and the hotel was walking distance to everything. They have the cutest store across the street that sell a unique fruit called marandelle which you can only find in Tropea and Calabria. Such a special vacation and place♥️
