Northstar Mountain charm & luxury, near shuttle, 10 minutes to slopes, sleeps 6,

Our cozy mountain themed Northstar Condo is in Indian Hills, a neighborhood of Northstar California Ski, tennis, mountain bike and pickle ball resort, and is only about a hundred steps to the shuttle stop and about a 10 minute ride to the Village or Recreation Center, yet you feel the peace and quiet of the mountains. However, we have fast WIFI to keep you connected if you choose!
From the bistro table for four, on the deck you can gaze on the Sierra Mountains, the Pacific Crest Trail and see the ski runs on Lookout Mountain at Northstar. The living space upstairs, including the kitchen, bath, dining and living rooms, has high ceilings with beautiful wood beams and large windows. We added an extra window over the sliding glass door to bring in extra light!
Our condo has all the comforts of home; fully stocked kitchen, 70" smart Apple television in living room, 40" TVs in both bedrooms, Cal King bed in one bedroom, Queen bed in another, hide-a-bed in living room with 7” mattress and no bar to stab your back!
Our completely fully equipped kitchen has granite counters, gas stove, dishwasher, french door refrigerator with ice and water in the door and freezer below, infrared BBQ, 4 slice toaster, electric hot water pot, crockpot, blender, coffee maker, standard percolator, K-cup coffee maker, french press, coffee grinder, milk frother, high quality solid cookware, utensils, bakeware, glassware, high quality sharp knives, serving bowls and plates, silverware, spices, paper goods, foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags.
Our laundry room has a washer and dryer with laundry soap, spot remover and dryer sheets.
Our two bathrooms are stocked with shower gel, shampoo and cream rinse to make your stay comfortable. You don't have to bring toilet paper here!
We have lots of stuffed animals, mostly bears, games and videos for the kids too. We challenge kids to count the bears!
You will have inside storage for your skis and boards and a boot heater/dryer.
You will have full access to Northstar's recreation center where there are three hot tubs, a lap pool, 12 tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, table tennis and full workout facility.
Our cozy condo is ideal if you desire to be close enough to Northstar Village, but prefer a feeling of being in the forest. It's quiet and more spacious than village condos. There are two parking spaces right in front of the condo and many other spaces close by. We have two parking passes. There are NO STAIRS to climb to get in, this is an ideal location! (many other condos have a lot of stairs before you reach the front door).
Overall, we have created a wonderful place to call your "home away from home" because that is what it is for us. I love to cook so I made a great kitchen that is complete with everything a cook desires. We love to watch movies, so we put in an amazing entertainment system in the living room and large screen TVs in both bedrooms.
We love to sit by a fire without having to deal with wood so we added a beautiful fireplace that heats the entire upstairs. We love to ski so we added boot warmers. We play tennis so we wanted to have access to the courts while being in the forest. Hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing are right out the door.
We are 15 minutes drive to the lake at Kings Beach and 15 minutes to Truckee. It's 45 minutes to Reno. We provide two folding chairs and ice chests to take anywhere you like.
