With this studio I love to create a home away from home for my guests. It's like a luxurious hotelroom with privacy. 2 min from Saguaro Natl. Park - East. Ideal for hiking, biking and birding. Just outside city limits, overlooking the city with desert and mountain views. Dark night skies, howling coyotes, hooting owls and occasional javelinas. Fantastic Casita!

We loved everything about our 6 night stay at Damselfly Studio. Beautiful views, comfortable and clean, super friendly hosts, perfect location, quiet and relaxing, and lots of wildlife. We hope to come back!

Saguaro National Park stay

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The Damselfly studio was roomy, comfortably furnished and very pleasant. We were very close to the Park for hiking and within easy driving distance to restaurants. Fredericka was a very accommodating and friendly host. You will not be disappointed if you stay there!

Incredible, restful stay!

We love this place so much!

This is our second year staying at the Damselfly and it was wonderful as always. Fredricka is very responsive and friendly. If you are a fan of nature and wildlife this is the spot for you. The bird-watching game is top notch . The wildlife and environment can't be beat!

Quiet spot near Tucson

We stayed 3 nights and found it to be very relaxing. Host was very pleasant and loaned me her new coffee press since I don't care for the Keurig. Wish the bed was larger. A queen would be have been perfect.

Lovely studio with beautiful views

The property, host, and location were great. The studio was clean and spacious. The property had great indoor and outdoor lounging spaces. Nice views of the mountains with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The host provided a perfect balance of welcoming availability while giving us space so enjoy our vacation. Highly recommend.

Awesome location and grounds

Frederika was a wonderful host and her hospitality is top notch! She went above and beyond with amenities! Room was very comfortable and we loved the courtyard area. It is ideal as it is so close to the park.

A perfect stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay in this quiet desert retreat. The place was spotless, and we found every amenity we might need for a studio stay. We loved the many seating areas, shared courtyard, and enjoyed watching the birds from the back deck. Frederika is a thoughtful host, and it’s obvious she has made the extra effort to make the studio a comfortable getaway. We loved it so much we ended up booking 2 more stays during our time in Tucson!

Great getaway and solitude

Beautiful casita located at the foothills of the Tucson Mountain Range, right outside of Saguaro National Park. Our hosts, Frederika and Arie did everything to make us feel right at home. We highly recommend that you take the time to visit. You will not be disappointed!

Great location and host

The Damselfly studio was beautiful and the perfect location for our visit to Tucson, Saguaro NP, and Colossal Cave. The studio was exactly as pictured, had many amenities/supplies, and Fredrika and Ari were the most gracious hosts. I could not recommend more!

This place is perfect, everything we needed to make our stay in Tucson wonderful. Close to the national parks, beautiful view. Lots of little touches to make the place special. Hostess is beyond fabulous! I have already recommended to friends who have trips planned.
