"Awesome hotel nice stuff drinks was great but food was ok"

"The property itself was beautiful but unfortunately at this time of year (early May) there was a lot of sargassum so we did not enjoy the resort's beach. The pool was a nice sub. The food at the local restaurants in San Pedro were better than the resort's restaurant but it was convienent and decent. Important to note that at the resort bar and restaurant they do not sell any hard liquor, only beer and wine. In comparison to another 4 star Belizian resort we had just stayed at, we did feel it was not as luxurious but overall clean, beautiful views, and fun diving experiences available. "

"This is an excellent resort! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean. We loved the turn-down service and fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was delicious, and the wait staff was very attentive. We rented a golf cart several times to venture into town, they were well maintained and comfortable. "

"The only way I can describe this place is it should be under motel not hotel. I book solely for distance and the price because I was island hopping throughout the trip. The hotel bathroom and hallways has an horrific smell the room was only ok if the AC was running nonstop the sheets have multiple stain and hair in the sheets. If I can’t relax to sleep without the fear of improper clean sheets it’s just not worth it. If that’s ur vibe book it. The only positive here the front desk concierge was nice!"

"Resort is exactly as pictured. Rooms were clean and smelled clean, great view of the ocean/beach, good water pressure and hot water for the shower, and all the amenities were clean and working. The ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and very helpful. Property is easy to find and right next to the water taxi. The beach front location was perfect so it was close to everything, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. I didn’t eat at the on site restaurant or order from the bar so I can’t say anything about the food, but I did get the complementary drink upon arrival and it was great. There is construction going on next to the property but I didn’t hear any noise from it."

"Caribbean Villas Hotel was truly a wonderful place to stay and made my time in Belize incredibly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth—the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. My room had a beautiful ocean view that made every morning and evening feel special. The room itself was very comfortable, with perfect air-conditioning (a huge plus in the Belize heat!) and an incredibly cozy bed that made it easy to relax and recharge. What really stood out was how accommodating everyone was. The front desk team was always happy to help and made getting around effortless by calling taxis whenever I needed one. I also felt very safe throughout my stay, which made it easy to fully enjoy the experience. The on-site restaurant was another highlight—the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff there were just as friendly and accommodating as the rest of the hotel team. Overall, Caribbean Villas Hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and location. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belize."

"The staff was absolutely wonderful. We did not have hot water for a day or two (happens often on the island) and when we notified the staff, they were immediately responsive. Zero complaints about the hospitality overall. If you are looking for 5 star quality accommodations, you may be disappointed, but this is no shade on this operation. We are divers and the rooms were just a smidge too small for all our dive gear and suitcases/storage. For a mid-range priced resort, this was good. A/C was on point, beds were comfy. Showers are spacious. We enjoyed the pool and the employees did a wonderful job making us feel welcome, keeping the grounds clean, and helping in whatever way they could. This is one of the many reasons we continue to come back to Belize about every 6 months. We stay some place new every time we come and this was another one we checked off the list! Overall good, it was just me and my husband traveling together. Would recommend to others!"

"Visited in April the resort had beautiful views very nice and quiet. Little houses were nice comfortable and clean. Did reserve one without AC and the room got extremely hot. I would suggest one with AC. Overall a great place to stay."
